Welcome to
the Hissyfit website. We are a close harmony group based in Beverley East
Yorkshire. Hissyfit are Linda Kelly and Hazel Richings. Linda comes from the
Midlands and Hazel from Scotland but Yorkshire is most definitely our home! We
sing our own songs, based on the traditional values of English and Scottish
folk music and the fishing heritage and cultural richness of the East Coast. W have
performed all over the North of England, and this includes appearances on
local and BBC radio, as well as Radio
Britfolk. We have
performed for three years running, at the internationally acclaimed Hull Sea
Fever Festivals and at Festivals in Saddleworth and Cleckheaton. During 2007,
we participated in several events connected to Wilberforce 2007, and the
celebration of the Abolition of the Slave Trade Act 1807. The following
