Fish out of Water 12 tracks of some traditional but mostly self penned songs which focus on the work and lives of the fishing industry in Hull. Now decimated by the decline of fish stocks and the decommissioning of the deep sea fishing fleet, very little remains in the city to remind people of its once vibrant trade.
Sweet Minerva 17 tracks this time again about the Hull and the fishing trade but incorporating other themes: war, slavery and the environment. Again, the majority of songs are self penned, or have been written by friends, and some traditional songs for good measure.
